As the title suggests, Homie invited collectors and fans of Tatjana Doll to exhibit their purchased work by the artist. The concept for the show was developed by the artist in collaboration with Homie. Before and during the opening, Homie received over 30 works from as many collectors. For Doll, who paints everyday objects, signage, and products of the “status quo”, the exhibition added another twist to her oeuvre. No longer were the paintings isolated aesthetic experiences, but like her subjects, purchased commodity. DS
